A few children from the Bay unit have engaged in a wonderful event today at Crowle Primary School. Where they got to meet a children’s author, Colin R. Parsons, who has written some wonderful work such as House of Darke and D.I.S.C. Direct Interface Shadow Control. The children took part in a writers workshop lead by Colin, himself. They created a short adventure story based on his book D.I.S.C. They invented their own characters names and locations for the story to be set. Once the children had finished their writing, they had the opportunity to read out for Colin their work which he gave feedback on. The whole day was a fantastic opportunity for the children to further develop their writing and at the end the children had four school books signed by Colin R. Parsons.
