School Closure Information

** Please accept our sincere apologies, we have been trying hard to get information out to everybody in a timely fashion but due to unprecedented demand, ParentMail has been unable to deal with the volume of demand. This has resulted in a delay in getting key information out to you. Please follow the guidance set out below and we will be in further contact from next week**

Prior to and following the announcement of school closures for most children on Wednesday, we have been working hard to put together the best possible plans moving forward, so that we do all we can to support our families during this difficult time and continue to provide learning for our children.

We must stress, that the guidance from government is for children to stay at home if at all possible to help stop the spread of COVID-19. If there is no possible way of staying at home for those children of key workers (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision) we will do everything possible to remain open for them from Monday 23 March.

We will, of course, respond to all phone calls and emails as quickly as we are able to however, please avoid contacting unless it is an emergency. If your child usually receives free school meals we will also be in touch with more information about how this provision will be provided, with support from a scheme that the government has just announced.

Learning from Home
Your child’s learning is of course important to us, so we will continue to help your child to learn. Year groups have
assigned learning activities for your child to complete using Padlet. Please see the links below. Padlet also allows you or
your child to communicate with their teacher.
