Easter 2022

With every year that passes we never know quite what to expect and this year has been no different. We have seen a significant reduction in the number of Covid cases to the point where there are very few restrictions to all our daily lives. We continue to be quite cautious as we are still experiencing cases of Covid and will maintain our protective measures for as long as they are required.

We are also aware that Easter is just around the corner and Easter is very much a celebrations of new life and, of course, chocolate! Last year we held a raffle in aid of our, yet to be completed, Sensory Garden. Although some of the preparation has been started we have not, as yet, been able to secure a landscaper to complete this project. Contractors are much in demand with extended lead times being very much the norm. With your help we now have the funds in place to complete our Sensory Garden and will keep you informed of progress.

Las year at this time we organised a raffle, asking parents, staff and local businesses for donations of Easter eggs and other chocolate treats. We will be doing the same this year and will be leaving collection boxes out on both playgrounds as from Thursday 17 March.

Raffle tickets will be available online from next week and we will let you know as soon as they are available to purchase.

We have made the decision that all funds raised through our raffle will be donated to UNICEF. This year, in particular, we are all so very aware of the devastation experienced further afield and those who would benefit from the helping hand of others at a time of great need.

Please join us in supporting UNICEF.
