Five children from KS2 attended the English Institute of Sport Future Stars trip in Sheffield.The children attended a full arena tour of the Great British Boxing facility, Great British Wheelchair Basketball training centre and a behind the scenes look at the fitness facilities used by Great British athletes.
The children also took part in various athletics events and a boxing circuit; throwing punch combinations with their partner and putting their fitness skills to the taste on a cardio circuit designed by Anthony Joshua.
Anthony Joshua was in the building but was busy in the middle of a conditioning training session; getting ready for his up and coming fight.
All of the children enjoyed the day and were a credit to the school.
