LGPS is committed to doing all we can to reduce the spread of COVID-19. In addition to all the protective measures that have been put in place and communicated with you previously, we will be supporting the governments Lateral Flow Device (LFD) testing programme.
LFD testing will identify colleagues who have the COVID-19 virus without any symptoms. Members of staff will be tested on a Thursday and Sunday each week, starting 28th January. Please be prepared to receive a message, following these two test days because if a member of staff tests positive, we will have to seek advice from the LA Health Team and Public Health England to manage this result to ensure everyone’s safety in the school – this may result in us having to close class and year group bubbles.
