Mosque Visit

  • by

On Wednesday morning, Year 3 visited Scunthorpe Central Mosque to learn about Islam and to explore the inside of this beautiful place of worship. The children listened very carefully to our volunteer guide and asked lots of interesting questions. We showed respect by taking off our shoes at the entrance, and by using very quiet voices inside the building. Upstairs in the prayer room, we were shown how Muslims pray and we explored the different aspects of their religion. The children were a credit to the school and behaved impeccably. We really enjoyed our visit and would like to thank Scunthorpe Central Mosque for their warm hospitality.
