Last week, children from Year 6 played in the NLSSN Kwik Cricket Final at Normanby Cricket Club. They represented the Brumby cluster after qualifying as the winning team in the previous round.
7 teams competed against each other, battling it out to be crowned North Lincs Champions. We won 4 out of 6 games and bowled more than 20 out whilst scoring 10 sixes and 12 fours. The children showed excellent batting and bowling skills, teamwork and concentration throughout the day narrowly losing both games by 2 runs.
Overall we finished 3rd out of 7 teams and we were level on game points with 2nd place but unfortunately had more outs than the 2nd placed team.
